Richard Horowitz, M.D.

Dr. Richard Horowitz is a board-certified M.D. specializing in Internal Medicine. Dr. Horowitz and his wife, Lee, founded the Hudson Valley Healing Arts Center in Hyde Park, New York, an integrative medical center where complementary modalities are blended with western medicine for a total approach to health and wellness.

Dr. Horowitz is also known for his pioneering work with Lyme disease, as his center has treated over 11,000 patients for tick-borne diseases since 1987.

He has been a practicing Buddhist since 1981and is honored to be the doctor at Kagyu Thubten Chöling Monastery in Wappingers Falls, New York, since moving to the Hudson Valley.
